Wellington, Somerset | Immediate Start | Minimum 6 Weeks | ECTs Welcome
Are you a passionate Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher looking for a rewarding long-term supply role in Wellington, Somerset? We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school on a long-term basis, starting ASAP, for a minimum of 6 weeks.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) seeking valuable classroom experience in a supportive and well-established primary school setting.
The Role
Position: KS1 Teacher (Year 1 or Year 2)
Location: Wellington, Somerset
Start Date: Immediate (ASAP)
Contract: Long-term supply (minimum 6 weeks)
Hours: Full-time
Pay: Competitive daily rate (paid to scale where applicable)
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
Maintain high standards of classroom management and safeguarding
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (KS1) (placements accepted for ECTs)
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
