We are pleased to announce that we are currently recruiting for a Welding Supervisor for our successful client based in the Wallsend area on a potential long-term contract.
With an immediate start and likely to continue long term, subject to the clients’ continuing requirements.
You would be working a BackShift 42-hour week - Monday to Thursday - 16:00hrs - 01:00hrs and Friday - 15.30hrs - 00:000hrs.
For the first 38 hours worked and approved - £28.32 per hour.
In excess of 38 hours worked and approved - £36.82 per hour.
Saturday hours worked and approved - £42.48 per hour.
Sunday & Bank Holiday hours worked and approved - £56.64 per hour.
Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to for the Welding Supervisor: -
• Supervise project welding activities on site in compliance with stipulated deadlines, quality, productivity, costs and safety
• Provide expertise to improve overall welding achievements
• Provide production feed backs to corporate function as far as concern welding procedure and equipment weakness affecting quality and productivity
• Provide innovations diffusion and promote the on-site training as far as concern new welding processes, equipment’s,
• The Engineer executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements.
• Liaise with the project Welding Coordinator in order to ensure availability of the required welding documentation
• Liaise with the welding laboratory coordinator in order to receive main targets and activities schedule
• Provide expertise during welding procedure development in order to achieve quality and productivity targets
• Coordinate welding procedure qualification activities
• Provide welding daily report to welding laboratory coordinator
• Provide help desk activity when/if required by the production site
