They are looking for both contractors and permanent staff.
You will be joining a reputable company in the marine and oil & gas industry.
As a Welder/Fabricator you will be involved in a variety of projects, both in the fabrication shop and on-site.
A driving licence is essential for this role due to travelling between customer's sites when required.
Our client is looking for candidates who are proficient in TIG and who have worked with inconel. Experience in the marine, oil & gas, or offshore industry would be desirable. Fabrication experience is also required.
You will be required to undertake 2 x 6G Weld tests on a 2" pipe using TIG process, working with both carbon and stainless steel.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform both welding and fabrication tasks
Carry out TIG welding on carbon and stainless steel
Ability to weld other materials is desirable
Show a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a desire for stability Standard working week of 39 hours, Monday to Friday plus overtime paid at x1.5
Rate will depend on experience. Those joining as contractors will have the opportunity to transfer to perm.
