Day shift role only
Mon-Thu: 8AM - 5PM
Fri: 8AM - 2:30PM

£13.5 per hour DOE
Time & ¼ overtime
Temp to perm after successful 12 week probation period
 
THE BUSINESS

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for our client based in Newton Aycliffe. The organisation employs 25 staff and has a £3m turnover.
 
The business specialises in bespoke fabrications. This is a temp to perm opportunity following a successful probation period.

You will form a team of 6 Welder/Fabricators in total. The business has a guaranteed order book for the next 18 months and the business can provide job security due to its diverse client range.

THE ROLE

MIG welding
Sheet metal work up to 5mm
Bespoke tanks & vessel welding and fabrication
Quality checking work
Fillet & Butt welds

THE PERSON

Essential:

Sheet metal and MIG welding experience
Light fabrication experience
High degree of accuracy & detail
Able to read and work from drawings Desirable:

Overhead crane experience
FLT experience
