Location: Cheshire
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.71 - £20.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week, with overtime available

Core Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Fabricator to join a well-established and growing business.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication of structural steelwork and steel-framed building components, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate steel components from General Arrangement (GA) drawings.

Work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.

Ensure all fabrication work is completed to a high standard of quality.

Use and maintain workshop tools and equipment safely and correctly.

Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements.

Contribute to a positive and productive workshop environment.

Requirements

Previous experience in steel fabrication.

Ability to read and interpret GA drawings.

Experience working with steel-framed structures is desirable.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Experience using a variety of fabrication tools and workshop equipment.

MIG welding experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
