Location: Leicester, LE9
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay Rate: £15.50 to £17.50 per hour depending on experience

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricators to join a skilled fabrication team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-end bespoke fabrication projects for prestigious clients, including luxury retail brands and major commercial locations such as Chanel, John Lewis, Selfridges, Harrods, and Gatwick Airport.

The successful candidates will be confident fabricating and welding bespoke metalwork from engineering drawings and design concepts, producing high-quality finished products with minimal supervision. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in precision craftsmanship and enjoy working on unique, one-off and prototype projects.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld bespoke components and assemblies to a high standard.
Work from engineering drawings, sketches, and design concepts to produce finished products.
Manufacture prototype and one-off items with minimal guidance.
TIG and MIG weld a variety of materials, including stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium, and brass.
Assemble, finish, and inspect fabricated products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
Work independently to solve fabrication challenges and deliver projects efficiently.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.Abou You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience as a Welder Fabricator in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
Strong TIG and MIG welding skills.
Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel; experience with aluminium and brass is advantageous.
The ability to fabricate from engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
Prototype or bespoke fabrication experience is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Desirable Skills

Experience working on high-end architectural, retail, or bespoke fabrication projects.
Previous experience producing work for luxury retail or commercial environments.
Brass fabrication experience is desirable; however, training can be provided for the right candidate.Apply
