Position Title: Welder Fabricator
• Location: Washington
• Salary: Up to £15p/h
• Term: Permanent
• Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:45pm – 4:30pm & Friday 7:45am – 1pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking either time served or semi-skilled fabricators. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding work to join metal components. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of metals and welding techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Must have experience in MIG welding with Mild Steel, the job involves MIG welding hollow section frameworks and material gauges between 1.5mm to 10mm.
• TIG welding experience would be an advantage, thin gauge (3mm to 5mm) aluminium.
• Be able to work using their own initiative or as part of a team.
• Will be able to conduct a short on-site weld test.
Skills:
• Proficient in MIG welding techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Familiarity with safety practices and procedures in a welding environment.
