Welder Fabricator

We have an urgent requirement for a welder to start on a late shift based in Ipswich, Suffolk. Predomianntly MIG welding, but TIG & wider fabrication experience is desireable.

We are offering a starting salary circa £16ph (including shift allowance).

Hours of work are rotating shifts of 06:00-14:00 & 14:00-22:00.

To be successful for this role, you MUST be able to MIG weld mild & stainless steel. You will be required to work independently so it is essential that you can read and work from engineering drawings and comply with weld symbols and standards as required.

The company offer a fantastic facility that is well-kept, clean workshop which follows lean manufacturing processes.

Welder fabricator duties include: -

MIG welding fabricating from 2mm - 10mm
Fabricating with various hand & power tools
Use of cutting, drilling & grinding machinery
Always follow & adhere to the company's health and safety standards
MUST be competent MIG welding & able to work own your own initiative. We are only considering welders with 5+ year's experience in the field.
