Welder Fabricator
Andover
£15.00 - £19.00 per hour
Our client based in Andover is looking for a skilled Welder Fabricator to join our growing team in Andover. This is a hands-on role involving the fabrication and welding of metal components to a high standard, working from technical drawings and specifications.
Welder Fabricator Roles and Responsibilities:
* Carry out general fabrication and metalwork
* MIG and TIG welding on a range of materials
* Complete sheet metalwork, cutting, forming and preparation
* Read and work from engineering drawings
* Use a range of hand and power tools
* Carry out basic machining work where required
* Assist with the manufacture and assembly of components
* Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail
* Work safely and efficiently within the workshop
* Use CAD software for basic design or drawing work, where required
Welder Fabricator Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a fabrication or welding environment
* Confident with both MIG and TIG welding
* Good knowledge of sheet metalwork
* Able to read and understand engineering drawings
* Comfortable using hand and power tools
* Machining experience would be an advantage
* CAD experience would be highly desirable
Welder Fabricator Working Hours:
* Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 16:30
* Friday, 08:00 – 13:00
