Location: Portsmouth
Salary: Up to £19.90 per hour (PAYE), £26.55 per hour (Umbrella) or up to £38,287 perm salary
Job Type: Contract or Perm
We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment based in Portsmouth. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welder with a strong background in aluminium welding, particularly within precision fabrication and high-spec environments.
Key Responsibilities of the Welder:
TIG & MIG welding in a manufacturing environment
Welding and fabrication of aluminium components (with some stainless and mild steel work)
Working from technical drawings and specifications
Maintaining high standards of quality and consistency in all weldsExperience & Skills Required:
Proven experience in aluminium TIG & MIG welding
Ideally coded welder, or a strong level of hands-on experience to an equivalent standard
Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or engineering environment
Ability to work efficiently, proactively, and with a high level of attention to detail
