Your new company
Almost 20 years in the design and build of off-site fabrication with a strong and growing client base throughout the UK and Europe. Due to their growing success they have a requirement to expand the welding team near Banbridge.

Your new role
We are looking to employ a Backshift Welder to support the current fabrication team, in our clients fabrication facility near Banbridge. This post is a permanent contract and offers an amazing opportunity for a candidate who wants to gain experience with a progressive and dynamic company. The Welder will utilise various methods of welding, and will be expected to produce TIG, MMA or MAG welds to a high standard. You will take direction from Site Supervisor on work requirements and read and fully understand the pipe fabrication drawings for each project. Weld pipe sets for various pipe diameters (typically carbon steel & stainless steel pipe ranging from 65mm - 500mm) from shop drawings. Ensure company welding procedures are adhered to and pipe preparation and fit up is carried out to the correct standard. Take direction from Site Supervisor on work requirements. Hours:
Mon - Thurs 16:45pm to 3:45am

What you'll need to succeed
You will be experienced in TIG/MIG, MAG or MMA welding configurations, and will support our team of skilled Fabricators and Welders. The Welder will be required to be on site daily within the Fabrication/Welding Facility. The Welder will utilise various methods of welding, and will be expected to produce TIG, MMA or MAG welds to a high standard.
