Description:
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Welder proficient in TIG and MIG welding techniques to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding, a keen eye for detail, and a valid CSCS card.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals and components according to specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Set up and operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Inspect welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintain welding equipment in good working condition and report any issues.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely completion of projects.
Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Complete required documentation for work performed and materials used.Qualifications:
Proven experience as a TIG and MIG welder in a manufacturing environment.
Valid CSCS card is required.
Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certification in welding from a recognised institution is a must
