One of the fastest growing manufacturers in the area are looking for MIG welders to join their expanding team as they continue to see increased demand for their products!
This welding role is offering a starting salary of circa £14.20, with the potential for this to be £15.20ph depending on the experience of the candidate. Overtime is also consistently available at increased rates of pay!
MIG Welder duties: -
Receiving work orders from the Team Leader and complete each order in a timely manner
Jig work and MIG welding of components into weld assemblies to a high standard i.e., burr free, neat welding with good penetration, in line with the engineering drawings
Fabrication of mild and stainless steel components
Safely operate workshop equipment i.e., band saws, mills, lathes, drills, break presses, punching machines, welders, plasma cutters, guillotines etc. to make the required components
Ensure workshop equipment is well maintainedDue to the location of the company you will need to have your own transport.
The standard working hours are 08:00-17:00, Monday-Friday
