Welder – Steel Foundry – Permanent – Excellent Job Security

Lodestone Recruitment is partnered with an established castings company who is looking to recruit an experienced Welder to join their team.

The Role

As a Casting Welder, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out MIG, and Stick welding, however if you have only Stick weld that is fine.

Repair work on castings.

Grinding, fettling, and finishing cast components.

Working on heavy engineering and foundry based projects.

Supporting NDT processes.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have:

Proven skills in MIG, TIG and Stick welding

Confident use of grinders and finishing tools

Knowledge of NDT (advantageous)

Experience in foundry welding.

A strong work ethic and willingness to learn

What’s on Offer

Salary - £33,000 (more money available with more skills)

Hours: Monday–Friday (Days)
