Description:
Activus Recruitment are looking for an experienced Welder to join our clients dedicated team in Methlick, Aberdeenshire, and to assist in the delivery of quality products to our clients. The ideal candidate should have good communication and problem-solving skills, work to a high standard and be a good team player.
Qualifications / Training:
▪ Coding's: MIG, TIG & 3G in Flux Core welding techniques
▪ Time served Welder / City & Guilds or equivalent in Welding
▪ Welding to DNV Standard
Experience:
▪ Previous experience in a similar role welding Aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel and duplex.
* Must be very experienced with TIG welding
Key duties;
▪ General welding and Quality control of parts.
▪ Servicing and maintenance of equipment
▪ Complete QMS / relevant paperwork where appropriate.
▪ Workshop housekeeping.
▪ Adhering to company procedures.
▪ Adhering to Health & Safety procedures.
Hours / Rate
▪ Working hours; 40 / week Monday - Friday, overtime regularly available.
