Description:

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Awarding Body that is currently building a brand-new website and needs a sharp, independent Web Editor to spearhead their content migration and development strategy.

This is not a straightforward copy-and-paste exercise. Our client is looking for a digital professional who understands user journeys, has a great eye for design and layout, and can make smart editorial and UX decisions on the fly to turn raw copy into engaging, structured web pages.

If you thrive in high-volume, fast-moving project environments and love taking ownership of digital content—from structural formatting to final quality assurance—we want to hear from you.

✨ The Role:

* Develop & Migrate Content: Create, edit, and publish high-quality web pages using an established CMS (ideally Umbraco) and predefined component templates.

* Elevate UX & Design: Structure and format text, imagery, and calls-to-action so they are perfectly tailored for a content-rich, professional sector audience.

* Guard Content Quality: Meticulously proofread and test pages, catching inconsistencies, broken links, typos, and formatting issues before publication.

* Work Agily: Collaborate closely with a lean project team of marketing, digital, and qualifications experts to meet tight deadlines.

???? What we’re looking for:

* Proven CMS Experience: Strong hands-on experience editing within a CMS—if you know Umbraco inside out, that is a massive advantage.

* UX & Layout Savvy: A solid grasp of digital marketing principles, page structures, and how users navigate complex educational or professional content.

* High-Volume Velocity: The ability to manage and prioritise a large volume of web pages efficiently without losing accuracy or quality.

* Sharp Attention to Detail: Exceptional proofreading skills and an awareness of how content behaves across desktop and mobile.

???? Bonus points if you have:

* Past experience working with an awarding body, membership organisation, or professional education provider.

* Experience with website redevelopments or full-scale content migration projects.

* A basic understanding of SEO (metadata, search-friendly headers, internal linking) and WCAG accessibility standards
