Progression into Junior Account Manager
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Location: Cambridge
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Water Treatment Engineer to join a successful and growing company based in Cambridge. This role is ideal for a Water Treatment Engineer looking to develop their career and progress into a Junior Account Manager position.
As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will initially focus on delivering high-quality technical services across a range of commercial and industrial sites. Working alongside an experienced Area Manager, you will receive ongoing support and training to develop your customer-facing and account management skills.

£35,000 basic salary with OTE up to £40,000.

Carry out water treatment testing and monitoring using site test kits.
Work with cooling towers, steam boilers, and closed systems.
Provide technical advice and recommendations to customers.
Complete reports and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Build strong customer relationships and support service delivery.
Work closely with the Area Manager to develop your account management skills.
Gradually take on increased responsibility for client relationships and account development.Requirements
Experience as a Water Treatment Engineer within the water treatment or water hygiene industry.
Hands-on experience using water treatment test kits.
Experience with steam boilers, cooling towers, and/or closed systems.
Knowledge of HSG274, BG50, and L8 guidance.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
