Job Title: Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer

Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester

Salary/Benefits: £28k - £38k + Training & Benefits

Due to continued company success, our client is seeking an experienced and hardworking Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer to join their company. You will be working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, public sector and local authority premises across the North West of England and other areas in the North when required. Applicants must hold strong hands-on experience with ACOP L8 compliance duties, and must hold a basic level of plumbing / remedial experience, plus an NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing. Experience / Qualifications:

* Experience working as a Water Hygiene / Remedial Engineer

* As a minimum, will hold the NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing

* It would be advantageous to hold the G3 Unvented Ticket

* Good working knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines

* Flexible to travel as per company requirements

* Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

The Role:

* Completing pre-planned and reactive water hygiene and remedial works across client sites

* Showerhead descales

* TMV servicing and replacements

* Deadleg removals

* Inspections, cleans and disinfections of cold water storage tanks

* Pipework modifications

* Mains injections

* Water sampling

* Temperature monitoring

* Producing detailed technical reports
