Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer / Legionella Risk Assessor
Location: Redditch, West Midlands
Salary / Benefits: 24k - 34k + Company Vehicle + Benefits

Professional water treatment specialists, who provide the full range of water hygiene, water treatment and legionella services, are currently recruiting for a water hygiene engineer / legionella risk assessor to join their West Midlands team. Candidates will be a good 'all-rounder', who is able to carry out both domestic legionella risk assessments, as well as monthly compliance tasks. The successful candidate will be joining an expanding water hygiene company, who can offer regional work and opportunities for further career development.

Applications will be considered from; Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Solihull, Coventry, Royal Leamington Spa, Rugby, Daventry, Lutterworth, Nuneaton, Birmingham, Northampton, Wellingborough, Kettering, Leicester, Tamworth, Cannock, Wolverhampton and the surrounding areas.

Experience / Qualification:
- Industry recognised Legionella Risk Assessing Qualification.
- Experience working within a Risk Assessing role.
- Good working knowledge of Hot and Cold Water Systems.
- Experience water hygiene / legionella compliance tasks.

The successful candidate will be carrying out a range of legionella risk assessing and water hygiene tasks including:
- Temperature monitoring on Hot and Cold-Water Systems.
- Water sampling.
- Showerhead cleans and disinfections.
- Carrying out works on calorifiers including inspections, flushing and temperature monitoring.
- Disinfections and chlorinations.
- Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
- TMV inspection, testing and servicing.
- CWST inspections.
- Basic remedial works on domestic systems including Dead-leg removals.
- Conducting legionella risk assessments on hot and cold domestic water systems.
- Producing risk assessment reports and legionella management plans.
