Water Hygiene Engineer
Location: Fulham
£35,735.70pa with van and fuel card
Are you an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer looking to join a growing and forward-thinking business? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established facilities services provider that delivers essential compliance and maintenance solutions across the residential, commercial, and public sectors.

The Role
As a Water Hygiene Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of legionella compliance and water hygiene duties across commercial and residential properties throughout Inner London. Working independently and as part of a wider maintenance team, you'll help ensure water systems remain compliant, safe, and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Water temperature monitoring and sampling
Cold water storage tank inspections
Cleaning and disinfection of cold water storage tanks
Shower cleaning and descaling, along with maintenance of other outlets
Full Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) servicing
Carrying out minor plumbing repairs and remedial works
Producing accurate service reports using a handheld PDA/tablet
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Responding to reactive and urgent works as required
Working in line with all relevant health and safety procedures and regulations
Reporting defective or non-calibrated equipment
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team
About You
We're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering a high standard of service and can work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 1 year's experience within a Water Hygiene role
NVQ in Plumbing (or equivalent)
Full UK Driving Licence
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team
Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
Legionella Awareness certification
Plumbing experience and practical maintenance skills
Knowledge of ACoP L8, HSG274 and Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999
Asbestos Awareness training
Working at Height certification
Manual Handling training
First Aid qualification
