Location: Lincoln (across 3 sites)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

About the Role:
As a Waste Operative, you'll be at the forefront of our waste management operations across three sites in Lincoln, ensuring that all waste is collected, processed, and disposed of efficiently and safely. You'll work in accordance with our guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Waste Collection & Disposal: Routine collection and disposal of waste from various site locations.
Equipment Operation: Safe use of forklift, pallet rider, van, and other mobile plant equipment.
Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and ensure safe storage of all waste materials.
Waste Segregation: Assist in the segregation, packaging, and labeling of waste.
Stock Management: Help remove waste materials from the site to prevent stock build-up.
Safety Monitoring: Monitor safety operations and ensure team compliance with instructions.
Daily Checks: Complete daily vehicle and equipment check sheets.
Communication: Regularly liaise with managers or supervisors on operational and safety aspects.
Additional Responsibilities:
Safety Contribution: Participate in behavioral safety and near-miss reporting.
Housekeeping Tasks: Assist with other housekeeping tasks related to the contract.
Documentation: Sign duty of care and hazardous waste consignment notes.
Team Support: Provide support to other team members when necessary.
Operational Support: Offer operational support across all sites.
