Waste Manager
£250 to £350 per day
Newport, Isle of Wight
Pertemps Isle of Wight are seeking an experienced waste manager to join our client, on a temporary ongoing basis. Based in Newport Isle of Wight, this position will be based on full time hours.
As the successful waste manager your main responsibilities will include.
- Daily management of waste site.
- Lead by example at all times.
- Monitor skips and containers to ensure they aren't overloaded.
- Conduct investigations when appropriate, to find cause of any accidents/ incidents.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Monitor employee activities and provide guidance where needed at all times.
- Encourage and create a positive work environment at all times.
- Deliver suitable training to the team, where appropriate.
- Carry out regular audits and observations of all site operations.
- Be flexible tin approach to working.
The ideal candidate will come from a similar background, and must have supervising experience, as well as hold valid UK driver's licence.
