Warehouse/Logistics Operations Supervisor

Monday-Friday (9PM - 6AM)
Warehouse/Logistics Operations Supervisor required to work night shift for a leading organisation based on the outskirts of Heathrow. In this role you will oversee the day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring shipments are processed safely, accurately and within agreed service levels. Working closely with the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will lead and support operational teams, manage workflow and performance, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the shift.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise night-shift warehouse and operational activities.
Lead, motivate and manage warehouse teams.
Allocate labour and monitor productivity, quality and workflow.
Ensure customer shipments are processed accurately and on time.
Conduct shift briefings, handovers and performance monitoring.
Maintain high standards of Health & Safety, security and housekeeping.
Ensure compliance with customs, GDPR and Dangerous Goods procedures where applicable.
Investigate operational issues, incidents and customer queries.
Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement.
Essential Requirements
Previous warehouse experience at Team Leader/Supervisor level.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Good PC and email skills.
Strong attention to detail and customer focus.
Flexible approach to working hours and operational requirements.
Desirable
Logistics/WMS experience.
Forklift licence.
Dangerous Goods or security awareness.
First Aid qualification.
