Warehouse Team Member – Permanent Opportunity
Overview
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly respected manufacturing business for a permanent Warehouse Team Member. The role is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient movement, storage, and dispatch of goods while supporting production operations and maintaining high warehouse standards.
Hours of Work
This role operates on a 2-shift rotating pattern:
Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm (Monday to Thursday), early finish on Friday
Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Monday to Thursday), early finish on Friday
Key Responsibilities
Receive, store, and organise stock within the warehouse, ensuring goods are located efficiently to support production and dispatch requirements.
Transport materials and finished products safely between production areas and the warehouse in accordance with established procedures.
Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Prepare, re-pack, label, and dispatch customer orders, ensuring all shipments meet quality and accuracy standards.
Maintain warehouse equipment and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
Ensure stock is stored correctly and warehouse areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Follow company procedures and work instructions to support efficient warehouse operations.
Assist with stock control, inventory checks, and general warehouse duties as required.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience within a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads.
The ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
A proactive attitude with a commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
