Monday to Thursday - 2pm - 11.30pm
Shift allowance paid on top of salary

My client is seeking an individual who wishes to take on a fresh challenge as Warehouse Team Leader working within a large and busy distribution centre, managing and allocating day to day tasks and providing direction, instruction and guidance to team members.
The Warehouse Team Leader will proactively manage resources to ensure all areas are equipped to meet business requirements as well as meeting all departmental KPI’s.
The Warehouse Team Leader will ensure that all safety inspections are completed and up-to-date, ensure all areas of the workspace are clean & tidy, alongside managing and reviewing risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment for all.
You will also act as a coach for team members, carrying out 1-2-1’s, annual objective setting and appraisals.
Your previous experience is likely to include….
Experience of leading a multi-skilled team in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Working with Material Requirements Planning systems (MRP)
Sound understanding of operating and applying Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)
Implementing continuous improvement tools
Supervisory, management or team leader qualifications – or be qualified by experienceTo be successful in this role you will…
Demonstrate excellent customer service and problem solving skills
Possess excellent communication skills and will be comfortable with pro-actively working in a cross-functional manner
Have excellent organisational and time management skills
