Warehouse Team Leader
Worksop, Permanent, 9am - 5.00pm Mon – Fri
£30-32k DOE
Our Worksop-based client is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their friendly and supportive team. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to lead a small team within a clean, organised warehouse environment where quality, teamwork and customer service are key.
As Warehouse Team Leader, you will support the Warehouse Manager while leading and motivating a team of three operatives. You'll ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately, stock integrity is maintained and warehouse standards remain high at all times.
Duties include:
Leading by example and promoting a positive team culture.
Picking, checking, labelling and packing customer orders using handheld scanners.
Monitoring team performance and maintaining operational standards.
Conducting stock checks and updating the WMS to ensure stock accuracy, traceability and compliance.
Coordinating inbound deliveries and outbound collections.
Travelling to a local partner depot using the company vehicle.
Supporting safe working practices, including manual handling and FLT operation.
To apply, you will have:
Previous warehouse experience, including picking with scanners.
Experience leading or supervising a team.
A full UK driving licence.
Good IT skills and experience using a WMS.
Strong communication, organisation and prioritisation skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
FLT experience would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
