ARE YOU A WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR?
DO YOU HAVE FORKLIFT LICENCES FOR COUNTERBALANCE AND REACH TRUCK?
We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our client’s market-leading organisation. Working Monday-Friday on the night shift, you will be one of the most senior members of staff on shift, leading a team in a hands-on role where you will be operating forklifts on a regular basis.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be:
Leading a team, ensuring all areas a fully staffed at all times.
Training new staff and ensuring current staff are trained correctly.
Supporting the team by operating forklifts to move stock and prepare orders.
Planning racking and floor space for stock.
Ensuring all incoming stock is correctly labelled.
Leading weekly stock checks of raw materials and passing on the results to the correct teams.
Any other duties required.
The successful Warehouse Supervisor will have / be:
Previous experience within a warehouse supervisory role.
Forklift licences for both Counterbalance and Reach Truck – inhouse licenses accepted.
Experience working within a manufacturing company would be highly advantageous, especially within food manufacturing.
Knowledge of stock control systems.
Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
Strong leadership skills as you will be one of the most senior members of staff on shift.
