Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support a team of 3-4 Warehouse Operatives during the night shift.
Allocate daily workloads and monitor performance to ensure productivity targets are achieved.
Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, checked, and dispatched accurately and on time.
Maintain high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping across the warehouse.
Conduct regular stock checks and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, reporting issues where necessary.
Ensure all warehouse processes and procedures are followed consistently.
Provide training, guidance, and ongoing support to warehouse team members.
Liaise with production, transport, and day shift teams to ensure smooth operational handovers.
Support continuous improvement activities to enhance warehouse efficiency and service levels.
Complete relevant warehouse administration and reporting requirements.
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries when required.

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, or Senior Warehouse Operative position.
Experience managing or leading small warehouse teams.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and goods dispatch.
Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or distribution environment is highly desirable.
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
Confident communicator capable of motivating and managing a team.
Ability to work independently and make decisions during night shift operations.
Counterbalance FLT licence would be advantageous but not essential.
Good working knowledge of health and safety procedures.
Competent IT skills and experience using warehouse management systems.
