Warehouse Supervisor
???? Tilbury
???? Monday–Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team in Tilbury. You’ll play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day warehouse operation and supporting the Warehouse Manager to ensure everything runs safely, efficiently and to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and allocate workloads to the warehouse team.
* Ensure all warehouse activities follow SOPs and Health & Safety procedures.
* Monitor and achieve daily/weekly warehouse KPIs.
* Ensure documentation and records are completed accurately.
* Support recruitment and induction of additional warehouse staff.
* Monitor MHE maintenance and report faults.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site security.
* Ensure staff training and development is kept up to date.
* Deal with performance and operational issues effectively.
* Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous warehouse supervisory/team leader experience.
* Strong knowledge of warehouse and logistics operations.
* Good understanding of Health & Safety and SOPs.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
* Good IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Knowledge of freight forwarding, customs or supply chain would be advantageous.
* Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
