Join our client's dynamic team! maintaining a high standard of efficiency within our warehouse operations. As our client expands their operations, we are seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead their team in Oakdale.
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse facility. You will lead a small team of warehouse operatives, overseeing daily activities and ensuring productivity targets are met. This role requires a fluent Polish speaker due to our client's diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and motivate a small team of warehouse operatives to achieve daily targets and KPIs.
Allocate tasks and responsibilities to warehouse staff, ensuring efficient workflow.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Train new employees on warehouse procedures, health and safety protocols, and equipment operation.
Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock movements as required.
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of activities.
Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including picking, packing, and loading/unloading shipments.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role or similar leadership position.
Fluent Polish speaker with excellent communication skills in English.
Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team building and motivation.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and health and safety regulations.
Forklift license and experience operating warehouse equipment (desirable but not essential).
Hours of work:
7.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
