Our client, who are based in Derby, are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team.
As a Warehouse Supervisor you will be in charge of the effective development of the team structure to ensure skills and knowledge are up to expected standards whilst maintaining the smooth running of the production in our Warehouse.
As the new Warehouse Supervisor, you will:
* Maintaining KPIs to expected standards and reporting these on weekly basis to the Warehouse Manager.
* Creating a monthly rota for staff members, including manning and staffing levels
* Chairing daily team meetings as required.
* Creating a training matrix and SMART plan for staff members and monitoring all training progress
* Carrying out the day to day running of GMP/ health and safety/ risk assessments
The ideal Candidate will have:
* Previous experience in a similar position
* Good communication skills, both written and oral.
* Good attention to details.
* IT literate (AX, Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook)
* A flexible approach to both duties and hours of work.
* Can work well in a team as well as individually.
* Ability to motivate staff members and work under pressure.
