Warehouse Supervisor Job Role

* To manage specific areas within the warehouse in compliance with cGood Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), cGood Warehouse Distribution Practice (cGWDP), H&S standards, and KPIs.

* Act as cover for the Shift Supervisor of a designated area

* To implement and maintain the Warehouse Training and Development system as well as deliver

* Deliver general technical and Practical training to the warehouse staff in an engaging and consistent manner.

* Assess staff on their competencies and facilitate completion of training records accordingly.

* Continual improvement of training material (following the process)

* Plan and actively oversee the team and shift activities to meet production programmes and sales targets as directed by the Warehouse Manager:

* Allocation of team member duties for shift schedules, overtime assignments and back up for absent team members.

* Monitoring staff attendance and performance.

* Communicating and reviewing Key Performance Indicators for the shift and ensuring that they are met.

* Assisting with yearly budget requests / submissions for capital expenditure.

* Through teamwork involvement, develop problem solving skills within the team.

* Ensure that staff training, and development is fulfilled and monitor team member progress through maintenance of training and development records and regular reviews.

* Ensure that all chemicals, finished product and hazardous materials are stored under the appropriate storage conditions.

Warehouse Supervisor Skills Required:

* A Reach or Counterbalance licence is essential– please do not apply if you do not have one of these license

* Experience with leading a warehouse team

* Heavily involved with the upskilling of warehouse staff

* Happy to learn technical information (IFS, EXCEL, WORD) about the department processes and equipment to help develop and deliver training material using a variety of formats i.e. videos, presentations, written assessments, hands -on-training etc.

* Previous experience within working in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing warehouse is a distinct advantage

* Happy to be on call and attend shifts when there are absences (additional salaries wil be paid for this)
