Red Recruitment Group are currently supporting a National client to recruit an experienced ambient Warehouse Supervisor in NW10 Park Royal, North West London.
The warehouse supervisor is required to oversee the full operation within the warehouse.
Staff you will be supervising and managing will be made up of a team of the following:
Warehouse Operatives
FLT Drivers
Delivery van drivers
Your main duties will involve the training, and supervision of the staff within the warehouse operation. This clients particular industry is of a high turnover of volume, fragile automotive products, distributed within the Local / Regional area to their trade clients via internal delivery staff.
Updating stock control systems as the day progresses with deliveries inboind and outbound.
Full IT literacy and knowlege of inventory control systems is required.
A focus on quality and service is essential as is 100% order fulfilment wherever possible.
Relaying vital information to senior management will be paramount to the success of the operation.
Experience within a similar position previously is essential for this role.
FLT Bendi licence preferred but can be provided to the successful applicant
A full Drivers licence with no more than 6 penalty points will be acceptable for inurance reasons.
You may be required to cover delivery drivers in emergency sickness case scenarios.
Hours of work will be 08:00 - 17:30 Monday to Friday
+ Every other Saturday 08:00 - 13:00
Average basic hours 45 hours per week
£26’000 per year basic - to be reviewed after 6 months permanent probation period success and increased accordingly.
Earnings potential £30k+ with overtime and progression.
Overtime will be paid at time and a half when permanent after short 2 week temporary to permanent period.
Weekly paid for 2 weeks temporary to permanent period and monthly paid there-after.
Flexibility to work over to meet the needs of the business is essential.
Interviews are to be conducted with the Senior Management team and the position is available for immediate start.
