Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: Up to £30,000
Summary of the Role: We are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of our warehouse in Milton Keynes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring that all operations are conducted smoothly and safely. This role requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, organisation and the ability to optimise warehouse processes to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
Manage/lead a team of staff, providing training, support, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with h&s regulations and maintain a clean, organised warehouse.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
Enhance efficiency and productivity.
Implement and improve warehouse processes and procedures to
Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock audits.
Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, inventory, or shipments.
Operate warehouse equipment and ensure it is properly maintained.
Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports.Key Skills:
Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and software.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
