Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Watford, UK
Department: Operations and Warehouse
Reporting To: Operations Manager
Salary: £30,000 - £34,000 per annum
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Role Overview:
Our global healthcare client is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to assist in managing the day-to-day operations of their Warehouse team in Watford. Reporting to the Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager, you will support the operational team in fulfilling and shipping customer orders accurately and on time. You will also help manage the production schedule, receive vendor shipments, assist with material requirements planning (MRP), and oversee product inventory exercises.

Order Workflow and Inventory Management (30%)
Monitor the workflow and prioritisation of customer orders.
Ensure the Warehouse team follows processes and uses the WMS application.
Conduct inventory transactions in accordance with company procedures.
Shipping and Database Management (20%)
Ensure all shipments are completed as per work orders.
Maintain the warehouse database, prepare shipping reports, and file records.
Production Planning and Quality Control (20%)
Provide planning updates for the production process and schedule.
Oversee quality control, supervise the warehouse team, and ensure timely product completion.
Reporting and Cycle Counts (10%)
Generate daily shipment overview and product inventory reports.
Report issues or recommend improvements to senior management.
Assist in planning and supervising cycle counts.
Team Training and Performance Management (10%)
Assist in team training, production scheduling, and process creation.
Provide guidance and feedback to staff, escalating performance issues as needed.
Overstock Management and Facility Cleanliness (10%)
Manage overstock inventory items and ensure warehouse cleanliness.
Health & Safety Participation
Support and participate in the site health & safety policy.
Professional Conduct
Carry out all responsibilities in an honest, ethical, and professional manner.Supervisory Responsibilities:
Set performance goals and deadlines in line with company plans and vision.
Organise workflow and ensure employees understand their tasks.
Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.Required Qualifications:
Knowledge:
Previous experience in a Warehouse/Production/Operations environment, with two years or more in a supervisory/team lead role.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (desirable).
Experience with WMS programs.Skills/Abilities:
