Warehouse/Stores Operative
Kettering
We are looking for a reliable Stores Operative to join our small warehouse team in Kettering.
This is a hands on role working within a small, well organised stores environment alongside one experienced colleague. While the wider business has larger operations elsewhere, this site offers a quieter and more relaxed working atmosphere, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and taking pride in keeping things organised.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
Receiving and booking in deliveries
Storing and organising stock within the warehouse
Picking and preparing materials as required
Carrying out regular stock checks and maintaining accurate records
Keeping the stores area tidy, safe and well organised
Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries when required
Following health and safety procedures at all times
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
Reliable, organised and self-motivated
Comfortable working in a small team environment
Happy to work independently and manage their workload
Familiar with warehouse or stores operations (preferred but not essential)
In possession of a full UK driving licence (preferred)
FLT licence holder (advantageous but not essential)
