My client is looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to join their team. These roles offer lots of progression and development for the right people. You will lead a busy team and be responsible for the overall operation of the Warehouse.
Duties:
* First line management of the Supervisors
* Complete frequent walk rounds/check ins
* Encourage an ethos of continual improvement and development
* Liaise between departments to ensure operation flows continuously
* Monitor levels of equipment and manage shortages quickly .
* Ensure daily priority of work is continuously monitored .
* Demonstrating a positive approach to the company
* Ability to manage workload efficiently
* Meet strict deadlines
* Contribute to documentation for training purposes
* Complete regular 1-2-1
* Complete return-to-work interviews and absent management procedures
* Manage holiday requests
* Monitor departmental staff overtime
* Manage breaches of conduct
