The primary objective of this role is to support the leadership team in ensuring the required service levels are always achieved. In addition to service levels; maximising efficiency, ensuring a co-operative working environment, optimising productivity, keeping tight control of inventory, minimising costs, ensuring strong due diligence, and keeping accurate accounts.
Warehouse Section Leader: Key Responsibilities
Motivate and inspire the team to maximise performance, and improve staff retention
Lead, train, and develop warehouse team members
Managing, coaching and mentoring a team to achieve outstanding results
Drive the team to meet and exceed targets, ensuring they are set clear targets to reach their potential
Effectively manage cost controls, to achieve stock inventory results
Effectively manage stock rotation and date code control to minimise waste
Coach and develop colleagues to maximise pick rate and be accountable to productivity targets
Effectively manage the goods inbound and outbound processes and complianceWarehouse Section Leader: Ideal candidate
Leadership / supervisory experience in a warehouse setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership capabilities able to motivate, inspire and develop a team
Agility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Motivated by results, excited by achieving high standards and excels in delivering excellent customer service
