Description:
Jackson Hogg are delighted to have partnered up with a leading Manufacturer to ensure that all incoming goods and materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Main Responsibilities/Key Tasks:
Inspect and assess incoming goods and materials against specifications and quality standards:

Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and tests ensuring all supplied items are processed within the agreed turnaround time scale.

Conduct relevant documentation checks in accordance with our goods inwards procedures
*
Identify and document any non-conformities, defects, or discrepancies.
*
Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve issues related to quality or specifications.
*
Communicate inspection findings and recommendations to relevant departments.
*
Assist in the development and improvement of quality control procedures.
*
Monitor and report on supplier performance and quality trends.
*
Adhere to company procedures and health and safety policies
*
Ensure compliance with health and safety
*
Participate in internal and external audits as necessary.
*
Support the Warehouse Goods In Team as necessary
About You:
* Similar experience in a Warehouse environment
* Familair with ERP systems
* Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards
This role is paying up to £30,000 and working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4pm with an early finish on a Friday
