Trek Recruitment is hiring a Warehouse Operative on behalf of our client, an established manufacturing company in Chirk.
This is a permanent role in a well-run warehouse supporting the safe movement of their manufactured products — from goods-in through picking, packing and despatch.
If you want stable weekday hours, a practical job you can take pride in, and a workplace that values reliability and safe working, this is a strong next step.
THE ROLE

Clear route to become a trusted pair of hands on site Day-to-day you will:
Pick orders accurately against picking lists and customer instructions
Check descriptions, quantities, dimensions and product condition
Pack and label products securely
Complete stock checks and report shortages or discrepancies
Load and unload deliveries safely
Prepare complete, secure loads for despatch
Move stock using approved manual handling and authorised equipment
Keep warehouse areas clean, clear and organised
Report damaged goods, hazards, near misses and safety concerns
Work closely with warehouse, transport, production and administration colleagues The role involves standing, walking, bending, reaching and handling warehouse products. Some items are bulky, awkward or heavy. Safe methods, mechanical aids and team lifts are used whenever needed.
