Hours and Shifts: 0600 & 1400 starts on a weekly rotating shift pattern.
Pay: £10.42 per hour (raising to £11.44 on 1st April 2024)
Location: Edinburgh Airport
We are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to work with our client in Edinburgh Airport on a temporary basis, with permanent opportunities after 12 weeks.
Your role will be to prepare the bar/trolley carts with food, drinks (including alcoholic drinks) and general duty-free goods for the aircraft. You will download the picks from the computer system, use a hand scanner for picking and pack into the trolley as you go. Accuracy and efficiency is important in this role, as well as basic computer/keyboard skills. You must be able to read, pick and pack at pace to be successful in this role.
Experience of working within a warehouse/stores environment is necessary with picking & packing experience. A good standard of English language (reading, writing and spoken) required. Having a good work ethic, 100% attendance, being flexible in your approach to work and a desire to work hard as part of a team is a must.
We require you to provide a 5 year address history, a 5 year work history with references and a criminal background check will be carried out during the vetting process.
