The Recruitment Group is hiring!
We're on the lookout for a Warehouse Operative/Driver to join our client based in Oxford.
Your role will be to ensure that all ‘picks’ are taken from stock and packed in the correct way for transportation to the customer.
You will be required to have a CPC and C1 driving license.
About the role:
To ensure that all picking documentation is downloaded to the Expert5.0 system producing the required pick tickets.On completion the office copy will be kept for a month and then destroyed in numerical order.
Prioritizing picks to ensure that those 4 received first are actioned first.
Assisting the driver, if necessary, with loading the vehicle.
Refilling the DA on completion of pick whilst ensuring that empty pallets are removed and stored in a tidy fashion and that all pallet cards are checked when finished.
Reporting any pick anomalies to the Team Leader as they occur and logging any nighttime occurrences that may require follow up action in the office diary provided.
Assisting the Goods Receipt team as required and according to workload.
Maintain and work to Customer Specific Requirements for reporting Key Performance Indicators’.
To serve as a focal point to communicate, resolve interface and integration issues with other teams and customers.
The completion of MHE Pre-operational check sheets.
Liaising with internal & external customers.
Maintaining all expected levels of housekeeping in line with our policy.
To have familiarization with the company intranet and where to access the Corporate & Customer Unit Management Systems.
To carry out any other reasonable requests by the Team Leader, Manager or other colleagues within the teams or customer unit.
The on-shift driver is to carry out serviceability checks as stated in the vehicle check list reporting any damage as it occurs. He is also responsible for checking the amount of diesel and Adblue.
The on-shift driver is also required to insert his driver card into the tachograph at the start of his shift and carry out his driving duties responsibly and in accordance with the training he has received during his Driver CPC Training Modules.
Carrying out any additional tasks as requested by the Warehouse Manager.
About You:
Hold a full UK licence with a C1 and CPC entitlement.

Working Hours:
You will be required to work a 2-week rotating shift 6am to 4.30pm and 3.30pm to 2am.
