Stafforce have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative & Delivery Assistant with our client who is a furniture distribution company on Burnt Mills Industrial Estate in Basildon Essex.
The role will involve lifting and Manual Handling of furniture and this is a major part of the job. You will be loading/unloading vehicles supported by a forklift driver. The role will also involve assisting a driver with deliveries to clients on a daily basis. and at times taking the furniture to the clients room of choice. This job will a really suit an adaptable person who is not afraid of the manual handling side of things but also has excellent customer service skills. The business has many customers in the medical/health sector so the job will involve deliveries to medical/health units and hospitals but also restaurant's.
Requirements:
Warehouse experience including lifting and manual handling.
Excellent Customer Service skills and the ability to adapt.
A can do attitude with an eagerness to learn new things.
A basic understanding of Excel & Word.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A Full UK Driving Licence and your own transport is preferred due to location.Remuneration & Benefits:
