The Role

As a Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth movement of goods, maintaining warehouse standards, and supporting production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate Counterbalance and/or Pivot Forklift Trucks
Move raw materials and finished products throughout the site
Ensure accurate booking-in and despatch of goods
Follow all health and safety procedures
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
Work closely with colleagues to ensure efficient operations
Uphold quality standards and site procedures
Support continuous improvement initiatives
Undertake additional duties as required to support business objectives

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Valid Counterbalance or Pivot Forklift Licence
Good spoken and written English
Reliable, trustworthy, and self-motivated attitude
Ability to lift and move items up to 25kg
Comfortable standing and working throughout a shift
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

COSHH training
Knowledge of food hygiene and food handling practices
Experience working with HACCP procedures
Understanding of safety practices within a food manufacturing environment
