Warehouse Operative
Day Shift: 08:00-16:00 Mon-Fri - flexibility required to start earlier
Halstead CO9
£11.44 per hour increasing when taking on further responsibilities.
Full drivers license required (This will eventually move into a multiskilled role inclusive of van driving)
We are currently hiring for a committed and hardworking warehouse operative to join a family run business in the heart of Halstead.
You will be working within a small warehousing team, of approx 3-4 people, it's a friendly and diverse team so we are looking for a real team player.
This roles duties and responsibilities will grow over time providing progression and growth opportunities.
What is the job doing?
Receiving goods and booking in using the system
Picking and packing customer orders
Keep the warehouse tidy and Inventory organised at all times
Operating MHE once trained in house
Any other general Warehousing duties
Drivers mate duties
Eventually move into a role including van driving (+ pay increase)What do I need to be considered?
Previous warehouse experience
Retail experience beneficial
Full UK drivers licence and over the age of 25 for insurance purposes
Be comfortable manual handling up to 20kg
Friendly and reliable
Self motivated and work to own initiativeWhat do I get in return?
