Are you looking for a hands-on role in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We are currently hiring Production Operative to join our team in Wellingborough. As a production operative, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production line. This is an opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, committed to quality, and ready to work in a fast-paced setting.
Key areas of responsibility:
Responsible for ensuring the productivity and efficiency targets are achieved
To carry out quality control checks in line with the process working on
Ensuring that site Health and Safety regulations, policies and procedures are followed
Ensuring that all site rules and regulations are complied with
Carry out various hygiene tasks
To be accountable and responsible for their own and others health and safety
Report any accidents or near miss incidents to your supervisors.
Report any injury to oneself, even if this does not prevent work being undertaken.
Suggest safer methods of work by informing your supervisor.
Work with other employees and especially new starters & younger employees, to warn of known hazards or specific activities that should only be conducted by experienced trained staff.
Use correct tools for the job in hand.
Keep tools and equipment in good condition.
Wear PPE as instructed
Qualifications and Skills:
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to perform tasks that may involve heavy lifting.
Previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting is a plus, but not required, as full training will be provided.Benefits:
