Warehouse Operative (Full-Time)
40 hours per week
Monday to Friday - 8:30 to 16:30
Immediate start
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched accurately while helping to keep our warehouse running efficiently.
Working both independently and as part of a team, you'll need to be organised, proactive and flexible, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. No two days are the same, so you'll be happy to support different areas of the business when required.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, check and process incoming and outgoing deliveries
Pick, pack and dispatch customer and contract orders accurately
Load and unload vehicles safely
Maintain stock accuracy, including assisting with stock takes
Carry out quality checks on orders before dispatch
Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe
Enter data using our warehouse system (full training provided)
Support colleagues and assist in other factory roles when requiredWhat We're Looking For
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
Good IT and computer skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Good numeracy and communication skills
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Own transport is essential
FLT (Forklift Truck) licence is desirable but not essentialPhysical Requirements
This is an active role involving manual handling, lifting, bending, reaching and standing for extended periods. A reasonable level of fitness is required to carry out duties safely.
