Role: Warehouse Operative
Location: Reading
Hours: Full time, 47.5 hours per week, with Saturday mornings on a rota basis
Salary: Basic plus OTE up to £30,000

The Role
We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our clients team in Reading. This temp-to-perm position offers an immediate start. You will play a key role in controlling inbound and outbound warehouse parts, lifting and moving stock, and supporting excellent customer service.
Who You Are
* Previous experience in parts or distribution
* A team-player who follows set processes and procedures
* Good communication skills
* Ability to record information accurately
* Motivated, dedicated, and organised with a focus on Health & Safety
* Tech-savvy and confident using systems and software (e.g., Excel)
What You’ll Do
* Maintain stock securely and in good condition
* Assist the warehouse supervisor with regular stock takes and report discrepancies
* Lift and move parts within the warehouse
* Check for damage on incoming parts orders and record findings
* Identify and store inbound parts correctly
* Pick customer orders and prepare them for dispatch
* Ensure authorised signatures, receipts, or payments are received for all parts issued
* Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times, particularly manual handling practices
