Job Title: FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative
Location: Tilbury
Salary: £14.19 per hour
Working Hours: 20:00-04:00
Aligra, on behalf of our client, is currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative to join a leading logistics company based in Tilbury. The successful candidate will hold a valid RTITB or ITSAAAR accredited Forklift Certificate and have recent experience working on a Counterbalance FLT. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company in a thriving industry.
Responsibilities:
* Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move and stack goods within the warehouse.
* Load and unload goods from vehicles, ensuring accuracy and safety at all times.
* Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications, following all relevant procedures and protocols.
* Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
* Carry out general warehouse duties, such as stock organization, inventory management, and housekeeping.
* Use warehouse management systems to accurately record stock movements and maintain up-to-date records.
* Assist with regular stock takes and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
* Liaise with other team members and departments to ensure efficient workflow and effective communication.
* Report any equipment faults or health and safety concerns to the relevant personnel.
* Uphold high standards of customer service by ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Requirements:
* Hold a valid RTITB or ITSAAAR accredited Forklift Certificate.
* Recent experience working on a Counterbalance FLT is essential.
* Good level of written and spoken English.
* Safety shoes and Hi Vis are required for this role.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* Flexibility to work night shifts (20:00-04:00).
