Forklift Operator / Warehouse Operative
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator (FLT) to join our client's busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment and takes pride in maintaining efficiency and safety.
Hours of work: Monday- Friday 6am - 6pm
Pay rate: £13.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
Operating forklifts to transport goods, materials, and pallets safely and efficiently across the site
Loading and unloading deliveries, stacking boxes for storage, and moving wooden pallets within the warehouse
Carrying out inventory management tasks, including stock checks and record-keeping
Performing routine equipment maintenance and safety inspections to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintaining a clean, tidy, and well-organised warehouse environment
Ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and adhering to site safety standards Requirements
Valid FLT (Forklift Truck) licence
Ideally 1 year of experience in a similar warehouse or industrial role
Strong awareness of health and safety practices
